Nicholas Reader created Expressway Productions in order to bring  his stories to life through cinematic filmmaking. While directing, he is able to convey his graphic and unique imagination through the development of story and character.  

Nicholas is very capable of skillfully working along side his crew members. His creativity flourishes and can facilitate endless potential of the people around him.  

Nicholas' eye for filmmaking was developed early from his work in the lighting departments. He worked as a model gaffer for those around him, gaining experience from the accomplished DP's who he worked under. He transitioned into the grip department, which lead him to discovering a passion for camera movement. As key grip on various features, Nic has a great understanding of how a crew should operate harmoniously.  

It is important for Nicholas to continue to grow as a filmmaker, while taking creative chances which allow him to further his career as a distinguished director. What Nic and Expressway Productions offers to a film set, are highly valuable pieces to a seemingly infinite puzzle.
